The Design Process
Step 1: Discover
Book a discovery call with me to determine if we should work together. During this call, we’ll discuss the problems you face in your space and how they could best be handled through interior design. We’ll also determine which of my services will be the best fit.
Step 2: Consult
Once we have a signed agreement, I'll ask you to complete a questionnaire prior to this meeting to help guide the design plan. I will visit the job site. Review your needs, wants and dreams. Small and Big ideas will be discussed during this time to help you envision your new home.
All of this can also be done virtually through Zoom and with the help of uploading images of each space to review.
Step 3: Curate
I’ll prepare and present a design plan for your approval. It may contain any of the following, depending on your needs and the service you’ve chosen: Mood boards, product / finish samples, non-toxic alternatives, floor plans, and elevations.
Step 4: Coordinate
Once all necessary products have been selected and approved, I’ll begin the ordering process. I’ll also coordinate with various tradespeople on the implementation of various aspects of your project. I’m happy to partner with your architect or contractor.
Step 5: Install
As products arrive, I’ll work with the right professionals to get everything installed properly. I’ll also inspect the products personally and handle any replacements, backorders, or change orders as needed.
Step 6: Reveal
Once installation is complete, I’ll review every square inch of the project with you and make adjustment based on your needs. This is the most exhilarating part of the project for most of my clients - and honestly - it’s my favorite, too!
