Love this post!! Wow! I can’t believe they painted over wallpaper!! Lol I wonder what that paper print consists of. The texture of the drapes is beautiful!! Are you wallpapering all four walls or just an accent wall? Ive always wanted to experiment with wallpaper but been too afraid.

I love getting lots of packages! Mine were rolling in too. Loving the fabric choices, especially the close up of that Roman shade! It’s going to be like a “health” spa in there! Can’t wait.

Looking good so far. The roman shade fabric and drapery fabric look so calming. This room is going to be a retreat for you and your husband.

I was dumbfounded by discovering that there was wallpaper and it was painted over. The cherry on top I’m now doing it but the reverse. One day we will blow that wall out and expand. Nope only wallpapering one wall. Yes, all of the textures will create a serene feeling. Jump on over and check out some paper you may find that you love it.

Any package is great to get! But getting these packages when expected is a whole other happiness. Hitting this now 3 week deadline is coming down to the wire. I can’t wait for the drapes and roman to go up. Next Monday is the day!

Good, better, best options makes eco-friendly design something everyone can realistically achieve to some degree. Looking forward to seeing the wallpaper up.

Totally agree about the telescoping rods…and the differing diameters make things hang wonky too! So exciting to have the pieces starting to come together. And I love that Roman shade fabric!

I had just researched painting over wallpaper for a house going on the market and I decided it is just not worth it. I would hate to be the buyer and discover that! I’m glad you found a way to make it a non issue AND be green at the same time. Best of luck in Week 4.

It’s so impressive that you can incorporate so many non-toxic materials into one space!

Yes! Learning what needs to be absolutely eliminated and what is ok to use creates a price point that is more achievable. Not everyone can afford the Best and it’s o.k. That is why I’m creating a good, better, best option for my clients. Thank you for your support!

Telescoping rods are great when you need a quick and inexpensive fix. In this situation, I plan to keep our space as is for a LONG time! I’d rather save the money and do it properly then cut corners and end up NOT being unhappy with the end result.

It’s definitely a process! The story goes on. I didn’t have enough of the non-toxic adhesive. Crossing my fingers I get it this week.

The next homeowner will be glad you didn’t do that. I typically like things done properly and not cut corners. But sometimes I need to be flexible and problem solve in other ways. Budget and time are things to consider.

Thank You! Learning that our indoor air quality is 5x’s worse then it is outdoors. Due to what we bring into our homes. I really wanted to create a space that was safe for us. I’d rather spend the money and take preventative measures with keeping my family healthy.

You should definitely do an HGTV style Big Reveal. Glad things are moving along. I’m surprised at how quickly you’re getting everything done.

Yes, a true HGTV reveal would be so fun! This process is unheard of being six weeks. I had to ask for A LOT of favors from my vendors.

Hi Nicole, I’m excited about the wallpaper too. It was scheduled to go in this past weekend. But in true fashion, there was a hiccup. But we will be back on track by this weekend. Thank you for your support and following along.

    Hi Julie,
Yes, Human health is something I am passionate about when designing a space. It’s crazy the number of toxic chemicals we are exposed to. Some of which are not all good for our bodies. My goal is to create a beautiful space with the least amount of toxins in it. One room at a time!
